Mycopia Mushrooms was founded in 1977 in Sebastopol, CA making us one of the oldest specialty mushroom farms in America. Maintaining our position as a market leader, we grow seven varieties of Organic, Specialty Mushrooms including Alba Clamshell, Brown Clamshell, Trumpet Royale, Forest Nameko, Velvet Pioppini, Nebrodini Bianco, and Maitake Frondosa. With a new expansion facility in Michigan we produce both tills and bulk for retail and food service customers.
At Mycopia Mushrooms we are committed to sustainable agriculture. All of our products are certified organic. Our unique specialty varieties are grown in reusable bottles on oak shavings, a waste product from lumber mills. The spent substrate is composted and returned to the land as a desirable soil amendment for local farmers. Visit us at booth #240.
