A global powerhouse for international trade, Port Everglades is Florida’s No. 1 seaport for handling refrigerated cargo and No. 5 in the United States. The South Florida seaport serves as a gateway to Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, handling more than one-million TEUs annually including nearly 150,000 refrigerated TEUs. Located in the heart of one of the world’s largest consumer regions, Port Everglades has direct access to the interstate highway system and the Florida East Coast Railway’s international and domestic Intermodal Container Transfer Facility. Our new 16.65-acre international logistics center, scheduled for completion in late 2020/early 2021, will feature cold storage, foreign-trade zone, warehousing, cross-docking, office space and more.
