Curry Rail Services is a railroad manufacturing company located in the Old Sam Rea/Hollidaysburg Car Shop in Hollidaysburg, PA. Curry Rail Services is a M1003 and ISO 9001-2008 manufacturing facility with AWS Certified Welders. The company supplies the railroad industry with crashworthy locomotive cab weldments, crashworthy locomotive fuel tanks, underframes, hoods, snow/pilot plows and other related locomotive parts. CRS has capacity and ability to perform locomotive wreck repairs.
CRS Freight Car Division abilities include: Rule 88 Rebuilds, light maintenance, wreck repair, inspections, interior coating/lining and lite to major modification program work. CRS will perform car cleanings at Hollidaysburg, PA facility, and has been manufacturing new car builds for 2 years.
With three Blast/Lining/Coating shops, CRS is able to turn cars around at an efficient rate.
Curry Rail Services latest expansion introduced its newest division, Curry Switching Services. Curry Switching Services manages Hollidaysburg Rail Car Storage. Located in the Northeast, connected to service repair and manufacturing facilty and has a direct interchange with NS, with a capacity to hold 2,500 cars at a competitive rate.
