PRINTED ELECTRONICS

High-performance, low-cost inks and pastes for the printed electronics industry.

We develop formulations for:

  • Conductive metal (Cu, Ag, Ni, CuNi alloy and other metals and metal alloys)

  • Dielectric applications

  • Flexible circuits on polymer substrates

  • Copper ink recognized with R&D 100 Award

Al

Aluminum Ink + Paste

  • Formulated for non-contact printing

  • Ideal for spray and aerosolized jet printing

  • Designed for silicon water-based photovoltaic applications

  • Low contact resistivity on silicon

  • Forms highly uniform back surface field (BSF) layer

  • Lead and cadmium free

Ag

Silver Ink + Paste

  • Suitable for drop on demand printing

  • Prints highly conductive lines and patterns

  • Used in the printed electronics industry

  • Ag-IJ10 ink can be thermally sintered at low temperatures on PET and special papers

Cu

Copper Ink + Paste

  • For use in printing highly conductive lines and patterns

  • Low-cost alternative to silver and gold-based inks

  • Rapid cure at room temperature using photosintering

  • Easy to integrate into high-volume production lines

  • Formulations for various printing platforms, including ink jet, aerosol jet and screen printing

Ni

Nickel Ink + Paste

  • For the printed electronics and solar industry

  • Can be printed and sintered on silicon any polyamide

  • Can be printed and cured to form conductive patterns on silicon, ceramics, and Kapton

  • Alloy particle size ranges from 20-40nm

  • Available as ink or paste

GRAPHENE FILMS + FOILS

We offer carbon films and foils based on high-strength graphene. Free-standing foils are available made with 100% graphene or with carbon nanotube enhanced graphene (CNT + graphene mixture) for added strength and stiffness. These applications are used on critical components for machines used in medical imaging (such as PET scans).

Features:

  • Long lifetime (exceeding 7,500 µA-hr)

  • Custom sizes (up to 26cm diameter)

  • Competitive pricing

  • Electrical resistance

  • Superior thermal conductivity

  • Foil mounting options (bare foils, cut to size, mounted on frames)

  • High mechanical strength

Ideal for:

  • Stripper foil

  • Radiation windows

  • Gas-cell windows

  • X-ray windows

  • Ion-beam windows

  • Thermal management applications

ISOTOPE TARGETS

We have the ability to create incredibly thin target formats from rhenium, hafnium, tungsten, bismuth, chromium, and more with near 100% material efficiency of incorporating isotopes into the carbon matrix.

Works easily for:

  • Metals

  • Oxides

  • Carbides

Benefits:

  • Creating thin targets from otherwise difficult materials

  • Very little waste of target material

  • Deliver targets that incorporate nanoparticles of target materials in a carbon foil matrix

  • Foils can be used as substrate for plating or depositing isotopes on the surface of foils

SENSORS

Our methane and hydrogen gas sensors have adjustable sensitivity levels while our ion mobility technology can measure trace levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air and other environments.

Our sensors:

  • Methane and hydrogen gas sensors have sensitivity ranging from .1% to 100%

  • Methane detector passed UL 1484 certification

Applications:

  • Residential safety detector

  • Fast response to methane and hydrogen

  • Broad industrial monitoring applications
