Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance
Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form in various organs, primarily the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, skin and lungs. It’s also the leading genetic cause of both epilepsy and autism.
The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance (TS Alliance) is dedicated to finding a cure for TSC, while improving the lives of those affected.
TS Alliance was founded on the core belief that community is a sustaining strength in the face of difficult challenges. In 1974 four mothers who shared the common bond of TSC came together to provide fellowship, generate awareness, pursue more knowledge and offer hope to each other. That was the birth of the TS Alliance, and the spirit and intention of those founders permeate everything we do to this day.
