The mission of Disabled Sports USA (DSUSA), founded in 1967, is to provide national leadership and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop independence, confidence, and fitness through participation in community sports, recreation and educational programs. Through a nationwide network of over 120 community-based chapters in more than 41 states, Disabled Sports USA serves over 60,000 youth, wounded warriors and adults each year. DSUSA publishes Challenge magazine, the leading adaptive sports magazine three times a year, which is available free of charge.
