Houston Center for Independent Living (HCIL)
A self-help, self-advocacy organization providing independent living services and options for people with disabilities by people with disabilities(PWD). Services include but are not limited to peer to peer counseling, independent living skills training, information and referral, individual and systems advocacy, post-secondary transition services for youth with disabilities, Deaf and hard of hearing services, housing assistance, employment assistance for SSI/SSDI consumers, Assistive Technology training, DME, financial, relocation services to PWD.
