Profile
Christopher T. Cooper is the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Investigations at the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Inspector General (DOL-OIG), appointed on April 25, 2023. He oversees the investigative headquarters operations, which includes administration, digital forensics, data analytics, and investigative analysis. With over 23 years in federal law enforcement, his career began in the U.S. Army in 1988. Mr. Cooper holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration and an MBA from Columbia College, and maintains certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Computer Examiner. He is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and the Partnership for Public Service's Excellence in Government Fellows program, with multiple awards recognizing his exceptional achievements.
