Profile

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Federal Protective Service, Ms. Atisha Burks, leads actions to sustain and improve business operations to meet FPS’ goals. She provides executive leadership in financial management, acquisitions, and risk management, and ensures that the result of financial transactions are analyzed and interpreted to determine the impact upon FPS resources. She previously served as a Senior Leader (Financial Operations) with the Department of Navy, Chief of Financial Reporting, Policy, and Property with the U.S. Coast Guard and most of her career at the Department of Commerce where she served as the Department’s Director Financial Reporting and Policy.
