Caroline has over 30 years of experience in federal financial management, IT program management and private sector accounting, with hands-on experience in performing and leading financial operations that span the financial lifecycle (payroll, accounts receivable, asset and cost accounting). She has identified financial management trends and developed innovative processes and approaches to respond to changes in policy and regulations. She has provided pragmatic guidance and bringing common sense solutions and decisions in Federal financial and resource management and operations, including budgeting and execution (PPBE), accounting, internal controls and audit readiness, grants management, program and technical support, enterprise risk management, and the deployment of enterprise-level financial management systems. She has also leveraged practices from her private sector experience as an assistant controller, to bring innovative ideas to solving public sector issues.
Caroline is the current Board Chair for AGA’s Journal of Government Financial Management.
