Scott is a Senior Staff Accountant in the Department of the Treasury, where he works on the Financial Report of the U.S. Government, is a featured speaker on the Federal Government’s financial position and condition, and is Treasury’s Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) representative. Scott’s 25-year federal financial management career includes experience in both the public and private sectors. Scott, a CGFM, is also an adjunct professor at George Mason University and has served in many volunteer leadership positions with AGA. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from George Mason University.
