Christy Behnke, SHRM-SCP, is the Talent Manager for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. She leads recruiting, engagement, compensation, leadership development, and retention efforts for the Comptroller’s Office. Christy’s eight years of experience working in state government combined with over 12 years of experience in marketing uniquely position her to create talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent to the Comptroller’s Office.
Christy is a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing, a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Master of Business Administration, and a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with a Master of Arts in Teaching. Christy is also a 2019 graduate of the Tennessee Governmental Executive Institute. She is a member the Society of Human Resource Management at the national and local levels and holds the Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional certification.
She lives in Nashville with her husband Rob and is the proud mom of two children, Alexandra, and Andrew.
