Profile

Mary Reding is an attorney with diverse private sector, non-profit, and public sector experience. Government experience includes career Senior Executive Service at the Department of Transportation, Social Security Administration, and career leadership roles at GSA. Experience at the Office of Government Wide Policy, Office of Executive Councils included managing the development, implementation, and setting of performance standards for management initiatives across the center of government through the ten C-Suite Executive boards including the President's Management Council (PMA), Chief Financial Officers Council (CFOC), Chief Information Officers Council (CIOC), and the Performance Improvement Council (PIC). Her leadership at the CFO Council supported the development of the Financial Management QSMO and numerous financial management initiatives including workforce development, grants management, systems modernization standards, and data management and visualization.

Prior to government service, Mary served as a corporate lawyer for Pebble Beach Company (www.pebblebeach.com) and led an international IT transformation and contracts team for Aviva Corporate (www.aviva.com) and gained State and Local gov't affairs expertise through the creation of the Military Spouse JD Network, an international bar association for military spouse attorneys and leading the state advocacy efforts to address the needs of military families, including licensing for professional spouses. Lobbying efforts were recognized by the DC Women's Bar (awarded the DC "Star of the Bar") and by the American Bar Association (honored w/ Grassroots Advocacy award).
