Mr. Coleman has served as the senior cybersecurity advisor for several Chief Information Officers (CIO) within the Department of Defense. For over 25 years, he has had the pleasure of reviewing and ensuring that various systems obtained and maintained an approved cybersecurity posture. He has leveraged cybersecurity strategies (CSS) to successfully direct a multi-million-dollar budget while influencing the accomplishment of critical milestones within various program elements. His talents have afforded him the opportunity to work in the field of cybersecurity for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and the Nation Security Agency (NSA). He has been active in many key roles but his most prominent duties include serving as the Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management (CVM) program manager (PM), Computer Network Defense (CND) Branch Chief and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Each position has allowed him to positively influence strategic plans, develop lessons learned and implement enterprise-level programs with a focus on achieving and maintaining the cybersecurity compliance standards imposed by Joint Forces Headquarters Department of Defense Information Networks (JFHQ-DODIN)/United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM).
