Raquenel Jackson is a Financial Analyst in the Financial Services Center at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Austin, TX. She works on implementation of the new financial system at VA and has 17 years of experience in federal financial management. Raquenel received the VA Secretary’s Hero Award in 2006 for her performance assisting employees and veterans during Hurricane Katrina. She has also received a challenge coin from the CIO of Veterans Affairs and numerous Special Contribution Awards. Raquenel was a member of the 2017 cohort of Leadership VA, one of the Department’s premier leadership development training programs.
Raquenel received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Syracuse University in 1995. She is a Certified Government Financial Manager and a Certified Defense Financial Manager with Acquisition specialty. Raquenel currently serves as the Chair of AGA’s Professional Certification Board.
