Bob Westbrooks is a writer, speaker, and adviser on government oversight and the future of work in government. A career watchdog, Bob had conducted, supervised, and led investigations and audits in several federal agencies including the Postal Service, the Department of Transportation, the Small Business Administration, and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. He is a former member of the Senior Executive Service and a former Inspector General. Over his 28-year public service career, Bob brought a multidisciplinary approach to the business of oversight as a criminal investigator, certified public accountant, and lawyer. In his most recent role, he served as executive director of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee, where he helped build a federal organization from scratch during the pandemic to oversee over $5 trillion in federal pandemic relief spending.
