TNO is a Dutch not-for-profit research organization with established services and capabilities in preclinical efficacy (fibrosis and cardiovacular/metabolic disorders, including NASH), PK (including microdosing and GI tools) and safety.
Our safety portfolio consists of:
- Target safety assessments (TSAs) - TSA combines cheminformatics, network biology, text mining and expert opinion to create a comprehensive report on the safety of a target. TSA helps to integrate data, combine different disciplines and provides a toxicological interpretation (and risk mitigation). We do offer different tiers of TSAs and have experience with both small molecule and biologics targets. We also offer target efficacy assesments
- Target Intelligence Platform (TargetTri) - for extraction, visualization and interpretation of public domain safety data
- GI safety - applying our InTESTine (ex vivo intestinal) model, i-screen (microbiome platform), organoids, gut-on-a-chip, or combinations of these
- Cardiovascular (CV) safety - using our unique preclinical CV models (including APOE*3Leiden(.CETP)) to test safety aspects in the metabolic and cardiovascular spectrum
