Anthony Vineyards and Sun Date
Anthony Vineyards was originally started in 1971 by four sons fulfilling their father's dream. In the mid l 980s the two youngest sons, Domenick "Cookie" and Bobby Bianco, took over the day-to-day operations. In the beginning, Anthony Vineyards was primarily a production operation, but in 1996, Anthony Vineyards decided to market their own fruit and became a fully vertically integrated company. In 2002, Anthony Vineyards began farming organically when we purchased 320 acres of organic grapes.
Today, Anthony Vineyards is able to supply conventional, organic, and specialty table grapes to retailers and wholesalers for the duration of the California table grape season, starting in May and ending in December. Sun Date is a sister company to Anthony Vineyards. Sun Date is a year-round date grower packer shipper that is based out of Coachella, California. They specialize in medjools, deglets, chopped dates, and organic dates as well as pitted and nonpitted.
