Capespan North America is a leader in the import, distribution and sale of fresh produce in Canada and the U.S. with over 80 years of experience.
With offices in Montreal, Gloucester, N.J. and Reedley California, plus procurement offices in South Africa and South America, we can supply fresh table grapes, citrus, stone fruit, apples and pears to retail customers coast to coast.
We also handle specialty fruit such as Sharon Fruit, Vanilla Persimmon, dates and pomegranates for retail programs.
In addition to the fruit produced on Capespan South Africa’s farms, we proudly offer our customers products and programs from select growers and exporters in South Africa, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Israel, Namibia, Egypt and India. This allows us to offer a diverse and reliable season-long supply of fresh products.
With our traditionally produced products, we also manage an organic table grape program from South Africa as well as a Fair Trade citrus program.
All our products are food safety certified and compliant with all relevant food safety requirements in the US and Canada including the Food Safety Modernization Act and the Safe Foods for Canadians Act.
