The Fresh Direct Produce Group are innovative importers, marketers, distributors and value-added fresh cut manufacturers of conventional, ethnic, specialty, and organic produce. The Group provides grocery retailers and food service providers across Canada, the widest selection of whole and fresh cut produce items from 36 countries. We operate from six distribution centres centrally located in Greater Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary and Toronto. These facilities include over 250,000 s.f. of refrigerated space, ripening and repackaging rooms, along with HACCP certified fresh cut production lines.
Along with the Simply Fresh, Exotic, Hot, and Ripe brands, the FDP Group also provides Islands West’s fresh cut produce from its Victoria, B.C. facility for a multitude of food service customers including B.C. Ferries, restaurants, hotels, hospitals and other institutions. Recently the Group acquired Mike & Mike’s Organics, which is Ontario’s premiere organic produce supplier.
