SunRype grew out of the fresh fruit business in the Okanagan Valley. In 1946, BC's fruit growers created BC Fruit Processing Ltd. to produce a 100% pure apple juice, made with apples straight from the orchard. They named it “SunRype,” and so it began.
We’ve come a long way since then, and today the goodness of SunRype 100% fruit strips, bars, and bites are popular with families all across Canada.
We try to capture a little bit of the sunny Okanagan in everything we do, from the products we make, to the communities and initiatives we support. Our philosophy is to use simple, straightforward ingredients that you can actually pronounce. Great taste that you can feel good about, without using artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our snacks are all gluten free, nut free and vegan, and contain only natural fruit sugars.
