Founded in 1992 from a small one-car garage in Ajax, Ontario, to a full functioning warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario. Over 29 years, our team has worked extremely hard to grow First Genesis/ Sunflower and by 1999, we were nominated by Profit Magazine as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies. With our 30th anniversary on the horizon, our dedicated team looks forward to continuing to provide the highest quality products and service.
We are one of Canada’s leading suppliers of rubber bands, LDPE poly reclosable zipper bags, produce pouches, and snack food packaging. We have the capability of providing custom digital printed products. We strive to innovate and provide sustainable solutions at a competitive price.
We are incredibly proud that we were the first to manufacture and create our HiCR2 high-clarity, single-layer HDPE bags which are recyclable and can be biodegradable. We are currently developing the next generation of sustainable packaging that is biodegradable, recyclable, and compostable to ensure we all practice good stewardship.
