Great Lakes Greenhouses located Leamington, ON is celebrating 40 years of family owned and operated farming success this year!
It all started in 1983 when our humble farm was 2.5 acres. Our founder Paul Dyck continuously expanded that over the next 30+ years. Today the 118-acre state-of-the-art facility allows us to produce year-round to service all our customers’ needs.
We propagate our own plants allowing us to ensure the highest level of quality produce, delivered fresh to our customers within 12-24 hours of being picked from the farm. Our rigorous food safety and organic certification program is supported by maintaining all aspects of our growing, packing and shipping processes under one roof.
In 2023, Great Lakes Greenhouses will be harvesting Long English and Mini Cucumbers, as well as Organic Mini Eggplant, Bell Peppers, TOV, Beef, and Cherry Tomatoes.
To reduce our carbon footprint our on-site Cogen power plant generates enough electricity to operate 100% off the grid.
