Managing Your Logistics, Maximizing Your Opportunities
Deringer's experience importing and exporting food and agricultural products dates back to our founding in 1919. At that time, Deringer supported the cavalry at the close of World War I by importing, grading, and storing hay before exporting it overseas. Today, we adeptly guide our customers and industry leaders as they navigate the specific requirements of importing and exporting. Deringer executives hold leadership positions on trade association boards, have been appointed to government trade committees, and participate in government pilot programs. Customers benefit from the high‐level of trade involvement as they glean advance insight into the changing regulatory landscape of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agencies. Early notification of changing regulations allows customers to change procedures proactively and nimbly adjust supply chain strategies to avoid non‐compliance that could result in fines, penalties, or delays.
