Welcome to the Grand Strand Emergency Medicine Program!

Grand Strand Medical Center is a 369-bed acute care hospital located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Emergency Department houses an Accredited Chest Pain Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Children's Center and the busiest trauma center in South Carolina.

The primary goal of our Emergency Medicine program is to teach well-rounded physicians to provide outstanding emergency medical care in an efficient and compassionate manner in order to prepare them for lifelong careers in emergency medicine.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to build our Emergency Medicine program in this community which allows us to provide superb medical training and patient care.
