OhioHealth Doctors Hospital EM Residency has a long history of training outstanding emergency physicians. Initially accredited in 1991 by the AOA, we achieved continuing accreditation by the ACGME this year. We were the first Osteopathically Recognized EM Residency. We embrace our Osteopathic roots as a foundation to the forward-looking program we have developed.
Our faculty have diverse interests to help residents achieve success, including outstanding leaders in EMS, health policy, administration, education, social media, and ultrasound. Training sites include:
- Grant Medical Center –nationally recognized level I trauma center
- Riverside Methodist Hospital – nationally recognized neuroscience center
- Nationwide Children’s Hospital – one of the largest pediatric hospitals and research institutes in the country
Specialty track options exist in EMS/Wilderness Medicine and Medical Education/Teaching.
