Hartford Hospital, in association with the University of Connecticut Emergency Medicine Residency, is offering 2 unique fellowships this year.
We are proud to offer a 1-year fellowship in Emergency Critical Care and Resuscitation. This is a fellowship geared towards those Emergency Physicians who have an interest in learning and providing the most up to date advanced resuscitation techniques in the Emergency Department. The goal of this fellowship is to graduate physicians who will become leaders in the field of Emergency Critical Care and Resuscitation.
We are also sponsoring a 1-year fellowship in Medical Simulation. This program is designed to prepare fellows for leadership positions in the field of Simulation Based Medical Education. Based at CESI, our hospital’s premier simulation center, fellows will gain skills in simulation-based curriculum development, scenario design, debriefing skills and program implementation.
Both programs are open for graduating residents trained in emergency medicine.
