Michael Mack is the son of Europa-Park owner Roland Mack and his wife Marianne. He has two siblings, Thomas and Ann-Kathrin. He studied international business in Basel, (CHE), Loerrach (GER) and Colmar (FRA) and graduated as a business economist. Michael Mack started gaining his initial experience in the family company at young age. He had already worked in attractions, dining, hotel and technology.
During his studies he completed numerous internships and worked for Hubert Burda Media in Offenburg, Munich and abroad as part of his dual studies program. Michael Mack also gained international experience in renowned international amusement parks like Liseberg (SWE), Bush Gardens Williamsburg, VA (USA), Warner Bros. Movie World/Queensland (Australia), Nigloland (FRA) and Port Aventura (ESP).
Since 2005 Michael Mack has strengthened the cooperation between the parent company Mack Rides in Waldkirch and Europa-Park and has been active on the Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG management board. Since 2007 as authorized representative and on 2016 as managing partner he has also been responsible for MackMedia, Mack Solutions, strategic business development, for the Media & Digital Development, Operation & Services departments as well as for the IT and construction management at Europa-Park.
In 2010 Michael Mack was asked to join the European board of IAAPA and since 2011 he has been a member of the Liseberg Applause Award Board of Governors.
Michael Mack has been managing partner since 2015 of the company VR Coaster which integrates VR content and operational design at Europa-Park and Mack Rides. He is appointed French Honorary Consul in 2018.
In 2016 Michael Mack received one of the prestigious “CampdenFB Awards” and was awarded as “Top Next Generation Entrepreneur”. In 2018, Mack Animation is founded as Ambient Entertainment.
Michael Mack has been married to Miriam Mack since 2010. He has two sons named Paul and Jacob Arthur.
