Pia Adlivankin has been the Managing Director and CEO of Linnanmäki Amusement Park and Children’s Day Foundation for the past seven years. She has a broad experience from both the hospitality and amusement industries. She has a dual citizenship from Finland and USA and has lived and studied in both countries, including the School of Hospitality Administration at Cornell University.
Pia strongly believes that putting the focus on your staff well-being will make them committed to excellent customer service and thus make service organizations more financially successful. The leadership focus must be on creating an inclusive company culture, where staff feels appreciated and inspired to participate in developing their place of work. This is when innovation can happen.
One measurement of their success at Linnanmäki Amusement Park in creating work-fun(well)-being is having been awarded as one of Finland’s ”Great Place to Work” organizations several years in a row, while growing their revenues and profits at the same time.
