Over a half century ago in 1961, Mr. Ömer Sakder entered the amusement business by renting bicycles, following motorcycles to cover his pocket money. With a Turkish and an Italian partners, they’ve opened Turkey’s first ‘Lunapark’ an outdoor Fairground area for family entertainment. In early 80’s, he moved to our new hometown Bursa - TR, opened an outdoor amusement park in 20 hectares. Altinpark Lunapark is still one of the largest amusement park in Bursa. In 1991, his son, Mr. Galip Sakder has begun producing amusement rides and operating ‘starpark’ family entertainment centers chain in countrywide. Starpark has been specialized on manufacturing of traditional family and children rides in house-design, engineering and building. All products are built according to the European standards and can be certified by other certification bodies. Customization and special construction according to buyer specifications and local regulations are also possible. Starpark is a family-run company where all family members are actively involved within the everyday management, in direct cooperation with a highly qualified staff of approx. 40 people at the factory, 280 people at the ‘starpark’ FEC’s. Mr. Galip Sakder is directing the company with his two daughters Selin & Sinem Sakder. With 60 years of experience, we are consulting theme park, amusement parks and rides, children play areas, national parks. Mall of Istanbul, Turkmenistan FEC’s for government, Iran Mall FEC’s and entertainment areas, Retro Lunapark, Congo, Republic of Congo - Africa Amusement Park projects, Martin Luther Kids - Paris in cooperation with government projects are some of our consultant and our operating projects. The production is entirely made within its premises, which extend over a covered area of 10,000 sqm. Our factory is located in the biggest industrial area of Bursa, Turkey. Only one-half hour to two hours away from Istanbul through the highway. Accessible with ferryboat every two hours from Istanbul.
