Munters offers a completely integrated evaporative cooling system designed to solve, in a quick and easy way, temperature problems in environmental controlled situations, such as tunnel ventilation in poultry, dairy and swine structures, climate control in greenhouses and cooling systems for hatcheries.

Munters system utilizes the natural cooling effect of evaporation to efficiently cool the air entering your buildings. Combined with the wind-chill effect of tunnel ventilation, these systems improve production in the hottest weather. Modular pad assembly holds and wets a choice of pad materials for the ultimate in efficient and effective cooling. Inlet air temperatures can be reduced by 10-20 degrees Fº on most days, and even more under ideal conditions. Tank kits are available for submersible and non-submersible pumps. The tank kits are designed to assure proper water flow and capacity; giving your system superior wetting regardless of the length.

The BI Series Bi-Flow Inlet features a new design created using the latest in computer aerodynamic modeling. Airflow is maximized over the entire static pressure range and flow direction is precisely controlled. Performance of your ventilation system is improved with a fresh supply of preheated air delivered to every part of the building.

The BI Series inlets include models for mechanical control and for air actuated control utilizing unique constant force springs. The simple to adjust springs allow full control of static pressure and make it easy to compensate for ceiling pitch. The BI48 is only offered in the mechanical version. Doors feature a proven seal technology, similar to that used in energy efficient windows. By sealing tightly, humid room air is blocked from entering the attic space where it can cause condensation problems. An added feature of the air actuated model is an optional mechanical override. All inlets close together using a simple hand winch or an actuator when transitioning to full tunnel ventilation.
