From its beginning in 1908 its founder helped co-write the DIN Standards, and designed tools known worldwide that have progressed to what we use today.
Best known for inventing the thread rolling head, LMT has changed manufacturing by making threads faster, stronger and most of all more economically. Our gear cutting is nearly 100 years old and made not only from HSS and HSS-PM, but also an indexable gashing cutter and new ICI hobs.
Our general machining products include taps ranging from HSS, HSS/PM and solid carbide to two styles of modular taps for cutting cast iron and forming of steels. With milling product covering industry standards, mold & die to high speed machining with PCD, we have you covered. Turning is another of the products we offer and have an entire line to meet all of your machining needs.
