At Berklee, you’ll find 12 unique Bachelor of Music undergraduate majors spanning across the music industry—from performance, songwriting, and production to music business, music education, and music therapy. The Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry Leadership and Innovation program gives music business students a foundation in design thinking and strategic leadership within the music business and prepares them to identify new opportunities, develop innovative solutions to solve problems, and better meet the needs of both creatives and consumers. With no audition or instrument proficiency required, the program provides access and opportunity for non-musicians/performers to pursue a career in the music industry. Berklee College of Music offers three distinct graduate programs in music education. Designed for working teachers, the programs hold classes in the summers and evenings, so that students can keep their teaching jobs during their graduate studies. 

All three programs feature an innovative and inclusive curriculum, taught by faculty with years of professional engagement in the classroom and beyond. Whatever your teaching goals, one of our programs can help you achieve them.

With over twenty unique summer programs, you have various opportunities to experience Berklee while honing your craft, performing with other talented students, and gaining insight into the modern entertainment industry. Our diverse range of programs in music for ages 12 and up are designed to inspire you. Programs take place between June and August at our campuses in Boston, Massachusetts and Valencia, Spain, as well as satellite locations in Los Angeles and Newport, Rhode Island.

Challenge yourself and push your artistic expression while ideating and executing your creative projects, building towards your Culminating Experience and beyond. The master of arts in creative media and technology degree offers three specializations. 

• Songwriting and Production: Explore new approaches to collaboration and workflow while reinforcing foundational songwriting and production skills.
• Writing and Design for Musical Theater: Learn how to fearlessly apply creativity, musicianship, and technology to writing and design for musical theater.
• Live Experience Design: Prototype and stage multisensory and immersive projects with dynamic collaborative experiences and up-to-the-minute technology.

• Music Production, Technology, and Innovation explores cutting-edge developments and forward thinking techniques in music and beyond. While strengthening sophisticated skills on the most current digital tools, students are challenged to disrupt the status quo while inventing the future of music.
• Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games one-year intensive master of music degree focuses on the art and craft of composing, orchestrating, editing, and producing music for the screen using the latest technology. Students lead recording sessions with professional session musicians and receive in-depth instruction in narrative analysis, orchestration, and the use of dramatic effects to support the story.
• Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration) is designed to give advanced instrumentalists and vocalists of any style the confidence and skills in performance and production technology to take their careers to the next level.
