As our name implies, our drums are ergonomically designed to provide exceptional playing, movement and sound capabilities which are unavailable on the conventional marching bass drum. This allows performers to play the instument with the same fundamental vertical stroke used to play all other percussion instruments, and to move with the same body orientation as everyone in the marching ensemble. Its use of a single batter head and a resonant head produces an inherently more even sound which can not be matched by the conventional bass drum. The use of an optional ported resonant head and the additional venting it enables, provides greater definition and articulation.
