Since 2018, And We Were Heard has served as an online resource promoting the works of underrepresented composers hosting a platform for digital recordings and a network where ensembles collaborate with composers to generate free recordings and performance opportunities. After the launch of our wind band program, we started up a second branch for string and full orchestra in 2020. During the pandemic, we incorporated flex works into our recording catalog.
