We are pleased that you have taken the time to check out our band program and we are grateful for your interest in what we have to offer. We are very pleased and proud of the entire band and music education program here at K-State and we would like to tell you more about us.
The K-State Bands are a student-musician-centered program that looks for potential in all - regardless of experience and background. If you possess the desire, talent, and a strong work ethic, then you are just what we are looking for.
We are a comprehensive program with active athletic bands, outstanding concert ensembles, and excellent chamber groups. Graduate Assistantships are available and we also offer a 3 summer Master's Program in Music Education.
