Based in Clarence, New York, Mark Recording was founded in 1962 by Vincent S. Morette, a music technology pioneer and innovator who brought together music education and the tape recorder. Mark Morette followed in his father’s footsteps and has been recording for over 26 years.
Mark Records has been privileged to work with some of the finest names in music. This includes Jazz greats, Shelly Berg, Bobby McFerrin, Dizzy Gillespie, John Faddis, Steve Houghton, Jeff Jarvis, Eastman Jazz Ensemble and classical artists; Fred Mill (Canadian Brass), PentraBrass (Italy), Houston Opera, Chicago Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra (Japan), US Air Force, Marine, Army, Navy Bands and choirs just to name a scant few.
