Originally the founder of Mathematics in the City, Cathy Fosnot is now the CEO and President of www.NewPerspectivesOnLearning.com, a company focused on the development of curriculum materials for the 21st century. Cathy and her colleagues have authored over 50 books and units on mathematics education, most recently the Contexts for Learning Mathematics (CFLM) series.
