Legends of Learning employs original research to drive student performance using standards-aligned games. Our Netflix-style game-based learning platform delivers a wide range of lessons and drives content proficiency for stronger subject mastery and classroom engagement. We currently have thousands of curriculum-aligned games covering elementary and middle school math and science.
Vanderbilt University conducted a study (which has been published in the prestigious Journal of the Learning Sciences) on our platform with over 1,000 students in 7 different states. The study showed a substantial increase in student engagement and significant performance efficacy using our approach. A few highlights below regarding students who used our platform vs. the control groups who did not:
- Improved Test Scores: Half letter grade improvements in 3 weeks.
- Faster Lesson Comprehension: Equivalent of learning 5.5 weeks of content in 3 weeks.
- Dramatic Engagement Increase: Higher average student engagement – 3.23/5 (for those not using the games) vs. 4.31/5 (for those using the games).
