  • FORMI NDF
    Sodium diformate, produced by ADDCON on a patented method – and distributed in the US by QTI, is a feed additive for sows, piglets and fatteners. The product is a white, free-flowing crystalline powder, with a faint odour of formic acid....

    • Organic acids have been used world-wide for decades in commercial pig feeds. Experience has shown that acidifiers are the most reliable product group of the non-antibiotic growth promoters available and can also be used safely and effectively with other additives. FORMI NDF – a double salt of formic acid (sodium diformate), produced by ADDCON on a patented method – and distributed in the US by QTI, is a feed additive for sows, piglets and fatteners to improve growth and health performance at all stages along the pig production chain. The advantages of FORMI NDF speak for themselves; research has shown higher daily gains, strong anti-microbial effects, as well as an optimization of feed efficiency – all points were proven by several meta- and holo-analyses. FORMI NDF has been trial tested by Kansas State University, also in zinc reduced diets. Results have been published nationwide. Being a crystalline product, FORMI NDF allows for a safe and easy handling, despite its high concentration of active ingredients.
