Smart Sense® is an auto control, technologically-advanced swine facility heating solution.

This innovative heating technology eliminates the inefficiency of conventional on/off heaters that require manual adjustments and always run at 100% Btu ouput. In comparison, Smart Sense® heaters are automatically managed through the facility control and operate at firing rates as low as 25% of maximum Btu output.

Smart Sense® generates only the amount of heat required to reach, maintain, and hold a desired temperature by automatically modulating Btu output—a proprietary technology engineered for L.B. White forced air heaters and radiant-heat brooders.

Center Feed Split Systems

Center feed split evaporative cooling systems for swine buildings and agricultural facilities.

• One pump is located at the center of the cooling system in a framed-in dead spot.
• Cooling pads are separated into two banks.
• With this set-up, the grower as the option of operating the ful system, or by simply closing a valve, operating half of the system.
• Recommended for systems up to 100 feet.

Center Feed Continuous Systems

Center feed continuous evaporative cooling systems for swine growing facilities.

• One pump is located at the center.
• A single, continuous bank of cooling pads runs from one end of the system to the other.
• No break in the pads.
• Recommended for systems up to 100 feet.

• Double Center Fed Systems

  Double center feed evaporative cooling systems for pig buildings and agricultural facilities.

• Two pumps are used to feed this system -- two in the middle.
• Two pumps offer the grower more flexibility to stage cooling to meet specific needs.
• Two pumps help provide maximum pad coverage on longer systems and give the grower and added sense of security.
• Placing the components in the middle makes installation and maintenance easier.
• Recommended for systems 100 feet and longer.

• Double End Fed

  Double end feed evaporative cooling systems for swine growers.

• Two pumps are used to feed this system -- one at each end.
• Two pumps offer the grower more flexibility to stage cooling to meet specific needs.

Advanced Service Saver™ diagnostics

Guardian® pig heaters also include a unique, built-in Advanced Service Saver™ diagnostic feature that simplifies troubleshooting and helps keep your heater running when you need it the most. The ignition control module in Guardian® heaters is self-diagnostic. If a problem exists, a red LED light on the module will flash a specific pattern depending upon the problem that is diagnosed. If the light flashes, the flash pattern will be followed by a pause and then a repeat of the flash pattern until the problem is corrected. Flash patterns are provided in the heater service guide.
