Cima is an Italian company which has been working in the pigs sector for more than 40 years making automatic liquid feeding system. Thanks to the possibility to be always in touch with the farmers and listening to them, we saw they were looking for a system to check and to control the weight of their pigs inside the farm. We decided to study and develop an innovative system the Cima Control Pig easy to use, no stressful for the animals and no efforts for the operators. In few minutes a farmer can check a pigs box and all the data can be transfered from the central unit to the computer. 

The systen is now used in differente areas:

- for fattening: to select and to send to the slaugherhouse uniform lots

- for gilts: to check their weight to make the first insemination

- for sows: to check their weight before they enter into the delivery room and after the piglets born.

    • Cima Control Pig gives the possibility to monitor the growing of your animals inside your farm. With our system you can check the weight of one box in few minutes and we know how it's essential to know this detail inside a pigs farm. 

    The main uses the pigs farmers do with the Cima Control Pig are the following:

    FATTENING:

    • Control of increments and conversion rates
    • Weight control for the lots uniformity to the slaugtherhouse (in this case it could be used the Cima Automatic Marker)

    GILTS:

    • Periodic check-ups in order to be able to carry out the first insemination at the ideal weight recommended by genetic companies.

    SOWS:

    • To control the sows entering the delivery room and after the farrowing. We think the sow control is very important because a lack of weight has a negative impact on the subsequent birth.

    Also we developed some accessories which can be added to the Cima Control Pig also after you buy it:

    CIMA IDENTIFICATION to identify the pigs which have the electronic tags. The antenna can read the high and the low frequency.

    CIMA AUTOMATIC MARKER to select the animals based on their weight.
