Band of Heroes Outdoors is a central PA non profit organization 501c3 that is helping to combat the 22 veteran suicide pandemic through hunting and fishing in a therapeutic manner in the outdoors. In 2018 32% of all suicides in Pennsylvania were veterans. With Pennsylvania having the 4th largest veteran community in the United States. One life lost is to many. As a community and state we need to take care of veterans who paved the way for our every day freedoms. In 2021 we helped 20 veterans through various hunts and fishing trips. We also sent veterans to two Pittsburgh Steelers football game. In 2022 we are hoping to help 50-100 veterans through various activities. Our non profit organization will be selling our 2022 outdoorsman ticket which has numerous hunts, guns and five $1,000 packages from Sportsman's Warehouse on our ticket. For $20 it includes a free meal, alcohol/non alcoholic beverages and desserts. You don't have to be present to win. We will have other Band of Heroes Outdoors gear there as well.
