Deer Hunting Camo designed based upon Deer Vision

WhiteTail Forensics, LLC, a Pennsylvania father-son company has entered the archery deer hunting camouflage market with a next generation design. The on-line store (www.wtfcamo.com) launched on Thanksgiving and is being debuted at the NRA Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg. Principal and Founder Tim Minnich stated that "Most hunting camo patterns were designed for our vision and what we believed to be effective. WTFCAMO® is the first camo that was designed exclusively based upon the science behind how deer perceive color, detail, and shapes. Taking into account all of those aspects of deer vision is what enables the WTFCAMO pattern to break up your silhouette and create visual confusion regardless of terrain, stand, or ground location. WTFCAMO makes it almost impossible for deer to isolate the human form."
WhiteTail Forensics started researching deer vision in 2013 and spent five years designing and testing patterns until their design was perfected. The WTFCAMO pattern was designed by Brendon Minnich, Tim's son. Brendon noted, "For decades we bought camo to try to match our surroundings with dozens of different real-to-nature patterns never considering how deer see them. The WTFCAMO hunting clothing is currently targeted for the first archery season. The jacket and pants are fleece lined for comfort and the material is super quiet. Tim stated, "It is certainly our goal to expand the collection to cold weather gear based upon the growth we experience in the first couple of years. For now, we are focused on getting our brand and message out there. It is time we start wearing camo based upon deer vision rather than what we think looks good, and there is no better place to reach our targeted audience with that message than the NRA Great American Outdoor Show." WhiteTail Forensics' booth is in the Outdoor Products Hall, booth #4010. "I started coming to what was once called the Sportsman's Show when I was a kid in the 70's and have been going ever since. It is so exciting to launch a company and have an opportunity to be a vendor at the show that I have enjoyed for so many years as a native Pennsylvanian", Tim noted.

We scaled down the WTFCAMO® pattern to make a stylish camo cap without compromising the effectiveness of the concealment properties of the design. The cap is light and comfortable with a Velcro adjustment on the back.
The WTFCAMO® long sleeve performance t-shirt works as a great base layer or worn on its own with the 95% polyester and 5% spandex construction. This is the makeup of a vast majority of athletic performance wear. This shirt was designed to be worn on its own on warm days, as a base layer under the WTFCAMO jacket, or just worn casually because it looks awesome
What we love about this long sleeve performance t-shirt: It certainly stands out as being different from any other camo pattern out there. We like being different, and we like standing out in a crowd. This long sleeve performance shirt also has a nice amount of stretch for shooting comfort.
The hat is light and comfortable with a slider adjustment on the back, which is much more comfortable and doesn't snag longer hair and ponytails.
What we love about this hat: The embroidered pink WTFCAMO really sets this hat apart, and with deer being red-green color blind the pink appears as a shade of gray to a deer's eyes. So you get style without compromising hunting effectiveness in the field. Or you could just wear it because it's awesome.
