L&M was founded in North Carolina in 1964 and began farming in North Florida in the early 1970's. After more than five decades of growing and packing fresh produce, we are still well grounded in the same principles; we work hard – with respect, passion, leadership and excellence – and always with unyielding integrity.
Our company is made of 4 growing business units:
1)Potatoes & Onions - with year round supplies of both potatoes and onions from local, regional and national farms in WA, CA, NM, NC, FL, CO and KS.
2)Vegetables - farming bell peppers, cucumbers, squash, cabbage and broccoli throughout the east coast as well as in Mexico and Honduras
3) Apples, pears and cherries from Washington State
4) Eastern and imported melons and Western mixed loads
