Still Well Art
Romantic narrative abstract paintings depicting the western lifestyle. Each painting is original and unique, using a blend of techniques including spray paint, collage or inks. All are finished in a rich and juicy oil palette.
Margaret Stillwell has been an equestrian artist all her life. She sketched horses on all her schoolwork while growing up. The teachers always knew which papers were hers. But life happens and so she balanced teaching, ranching and family before returning to art later in life.
Stillwell attended the Milan Art Institute and has her work represented in galleries throughout Northern Nevada, including Genoa, Carson City and Reno. She recently participated in the Reno Tahoe International Art Show in September 2023. Margaret splits her time between Nevada and Arizona; and has two horses, two horses and a mule.
