Reflectronics manufactures optical sensors for food process monitoring and control. The CoAguLite cutting time control technology was introduced in 1993 and has gained wide acceptance in the cheese making industry. The new FluorLite Milk Coagulation Control Technology takes milk coagulation process control to a higher level where the goal is to give the cheese maker the "desired gel strength at the desired time". The FluorLite also measures low protein content in whey permeate.
