Sheffield Machine Knife is a machine knife, industrial razor blade and safety knife manufacturer based in Sheffield, England, “the Steel City” with inventory held in Aurora IL for rapid service. We specialize in the manufacturing of machine knives for use in cheese processing and packaging as well as toothed and circular knives for food packaging and film converting. Blades can be made in a variety of stainless steels and coatings to the customer's and OEM requirements.
The Company is ISO 9001:2018 certified.
We also make blades for recycling & waste management and the plastics industry, as well as industrial blades for industrial use.
The Company has a full design and build capability which allows it to customise knives to customer's precise requirements including steel, geometry and function with things like tear notches, scallops, coatings or preforations. Our inventory of standard parts is held at our warehouse in Aurora, IL and once made custom blades can be shipped there from the factory to be ready for rapid delivery.
