In my early twenties, gut issues led me to part ways with conventional desserts filled with flour, eggs, butter, and refined sugar. However, my insatiable sweet tooth refused to surrender. When Maurizio came into my life, we discovered a shared love for desserts, despite our conflicting preferences. His less sensitive system and 'traditional' taste buds presented a challenge whenever we craved something sweet together. Faced with the absence of a dessert catering to both our needs, I took it upon myself to create it.
