March 12, 2024 – Denver, CO – 505 Southwestern®, the world’s largest flame-roaster of Hatch Valley green chile peppers and the leading retail brand in the industry, announced today the launch of Roadhouse Salsas - a new lineup of seven unique salsas inspired by the snacks eaten on long road trips. Roadhouse Salsa came to fruition with the long journey down Route 66 in mind. This iconic American highway travels right through the heart of New Mexico, where the warm sun and abundant green chile crop earns the region its name as “The Land of Enchantment”.
“The unique flavors of ‘Roadhouse Salsa’ tell a story of culinary romance across the state of New Mexico,” said Rob Holland, Executive Chairman of Flagship Food Group, 505 Southwestern’s parent company. “They’re savory, satisfying, and guiltless, featuring healthy ingredients like 505 Southwestern’s famous Hatch Valley Green Chile.”
Roadhouse Salsas are made with Flame Roasted Green Chile from Hatch Valley, with unique flavors offering something for everyone from mild to hot. The seven flavors in the lineup include, Tomato & Roasted Green Chile Salsa, Tomatillo & Roasted Green Chile Salsa, Roasted Tomato & Three Chile Salsa, Texas-Style Salsa, Picante Roasted Green Chile Salsa, Guacamole Salsa with Roasted Green Chile, and Fire Roasted Corn + Black Bean Salsa.
